Quantum Machines

Quantum Machines is a quantum orchestration company. In the course of a year, our founder built Quantum Machine's entire go-to-market team, and United States team, from scratch, including placing their VP of Sales, VP of Enterprise, and a Director of Sales with a PhD in quantum physics. The company has gone on to raise more than $150 million from top investors including Battery, TLV Partners, Qualcomm Ventures, and 5xed its revenue.


Together with former colleagues Adam Ramsey and Mark Mangelsdorf, Jared Todd worked with Afresh when it had 30 employees and had raised a seed round from Innovation Endeavors and Baseline Ventures. Working with the founding team, which included two Stanford PhDs, we recruited in the first external CTO for the company, who went on to scale the engineering and AI teams from 15 to 85 people. The company later closed a $100 million Series B, lead by Spark Capital and Insight Partners.

Symphony AI

Thira founder Jared Todd worked directly with Dr. Romesh Wadhwani, SymphonyAI Group Founder, to place Vijay Raghavendra as CTO and Pushpraj Shukla as VP of AI in 2021 and 2022, respectively. Shukla joined from a Director of ML role at Microsoft. Raghavendra is the former CTO and co-founder of early ML company Inkiru, acquired by Walmart in 2013, was a public company CTO, and built most of Wal-Mart's machine learning systems. Together, Raghavendra and Shukla have created a dynamic team with an industry-leading vertical AI platform.
